no but I did issue a stern and crystal clear explanation of my plan of action and intent ,that would be the consequence or reality in reponse to a particular action and I meant every word because I had every intention of folllowing through.

YES while sitting at an outdoor afternon concert a 4 or 5 yr old child started teasing my doberman almost unperceptably at 1st...making little sounds staring at my dog and moving hands and feet my dog was on a "down/stay" and the kids mother was oblivious...when my (very friendly) dobe lifted her head quickly I said to the child " don't do that!" our eyes met I did not smile the child moved away shuffling feet ...not all dogs are friendly or are used to kids teasing...even if unintentioinally

sure. I had a temp working for me who was late for work three times in his first two days. I told him that if he was going to be late the next day, not to bother coming in. He didn't come in.
