it doesnt sound like a regular ear infection it sounds like an inner ear infection which i have had.i felt that way for about three days and i would go to work and get all dizzy, popping in my ear, nausea and i felt like i couldnt walk.i went to the ER i had and inner ear infection i was laid up in bed for a week my equilibrium was all messed uped and i would have to hold on to things before walking around.there is nothing they can do for u so dont bother going just rest and it goes aways by itself. i hope this helps but it sounds like exactly like what i had.

Sounds like you are having a sinus draining issue going on. When the sinus' drains, it goes behind the throat into the sinus cavities behind the ears and into the stomach. Thus causing ear pain, sometimes you can hear dripping sounds also, sore throat and stomach upset.
Get some OTC sinus meds and it should clear up soon. I have lost my voice for a few days because of this.
One way to tell if you have an ear infection, the small bone that overlaps the ear hole, press on it a little and if you have pain in the ear, it is infected, go to the doctor. He will give you something to clear up the infection.
I hope this helps, mom said to gargle with some cold water with lemon in it. Or eat something that is spicy. It will cause the sinus to drain, but have some tissue handy.
Good luck.

It sounds like you are having a problem with you equilibrium. That would cause the dizziness and the stomach pains. This may be caused by a middle ear infection. As for home remedy's, you can get ear drops for your ears but that won't help your other problem. I'm afraid you really need to see a doctor.

You could have a virus that doesnt present like a cold virus , they can be harbored in the muscles. if you swim w/o ear plugs you should start now the clorine in the water can be an irratant to the ear cannal. There are some sinus infections that make people dizzy and sick this can come from the pool, l had one last year that made me so dizzy i was afraid to drive home , go get some peppermint ,eucaliptus and lavender essential oils from your health food store , use the peppermint and eucaliptus in a hot bath " a few drops goe a long way with essential oils " it will settle the stomach , on a cotton swab lightly swab your ear cannal with lavender if it starts to itch its healing . Rest , drink pleanty of fluids nad good luck on getting better. and remeber never injest these oils

I had those same symptoms a couple of times. It turned out to be a middle ear infection. Makes you real dizzy and your equilibrium is off completely. See if you can balance yourself. If it's hard for you to do that, then it's probably a middle ear infection. You'll probably need to go to a doctor for antibiotics. Or try an over-the-counter sinus medication, as it could be sinus blockage causing the middle ear infection.

i went through this about six months ago...one ear was popping all the time, and my equilibrium was completly off...i was holding the walls to walk down the hallway.....turned out i had an inner ear infection and i was miserable for two weeks till i finally went in and got a zpack...antibiotics. After the week was up, i was completly fine, and could hear again...do you have hearing loss? I did in the affected ear. I used luke warm water to soothe the irritation and flush the ear.....sweet oil helps in the ear, too.

go to the doctor, it is surely an ear infection, it sounds just like swimers ear and i got it when i wasnt swimming too. and it came back three years in a row before i really got rid of it. home remedies will not kill the infection.
