I think I have a boil on the side of my nose (the side is swollen and painful to the touch, I've had this before) and I want to know a way that may relieve the pain or get rid of it faster.

I had one below my lip last week and I popped it, after that I was rubbing hand sanitizer (the rubbing alchol) on it to help and it healed within a few days.

I have been breaking out a lot since I stopped taking my birth control (we are trying to get pregnant). That doesn't bother me much, it is the fact that it HURTS just to blow my nose! LOL!

Any suggestions? Budget is tight so cheap or household items would be easier for us to obtain!

Thanks

Not serious enough for a doctor, it is just annoying and looking for home relief. I've had it before. Tried the hot cloth, but no hot tea bags. I need to make tea soon anyways! LOL!

I've heard that applying neosporin (the cream kind) helps any kind of acne or infection heal faster because it's an antibiotic being applied directly to the source. I keep reading that a lot on the internet so it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

My grandmother used to use a hot poultice, such as a not too hot wet tea bag to draw out the infection. I've never used this myself as I've never had a boil, but it couldn't hurt. Good luck with that and trying to conceive. :)

Hold a hot rag over and it should bust on it's own after a few days. The heat is supposed to help it.

I use a knife, but pretty much anything can be used as a weapon. I beat this guy with my guitar when he was trying to rob our house. Turned out it was just some kid my age...

i would really go and see a doctor. but you could take a rag get it damp and stick in the microwave and let the steam from the rag hit it. the steam should pull whatever is in there out. good luck
