You can go to :

www.downloads.com

and search for "password protection" softwares.

There are a few softwares where you can lock up a folder or a disc with a password.

You can password individual files like excel or word but you cant password a folder, which i find strange but really you shouldn't need it on XP as different users can have their own user name and password.

there is a software named folder lock fromthat u can lock any files or folder

i believe that if you want a password on it, you must either put it in a briefcase or use a zip program to zip it up with a password.
