Try the entire Puremood CD series. I love 80% of there music. I LOVE their songs. They've made a spiritual connection with me as I dance, which is essential for every dancer.
My lyrical dance teacher also played some of them when we were in class. They are my favorite!

A song I really loved doing a lyrical dance to was called "Whatever (I Had A Dream Last Night)" by Butthole Surfers (weird name...) from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. It's kinda funky. And it's slow but it gets really strong.
Also "Whatever Happens" by Michael Jackson, "Remember" by Josh Groban from the Troy Soundtrack, and "Cry" by James Blunt are some good ones.
