changed the password one day when i was prompted....and now the administrator account has vanished.....need a cheap.....and EASY!! (lol) way to get it back....

i have tried to change in safe mode....but keeps saying i dont have the privilage...contact my administrator for help.....when i try to go to system restore....it says the same thing....i have a limited account....my hubby was the admin......we have tried everything......greatly appreciate ANY help at all....can i make myself the administrator....i have no clue ....lol.....

Restart your PC and start up in safe mode, you'll have options to start up as Admin.
To get to safe mode, reboot, and it soon as it starts up, keep tapping F8, then you will have some options. Once you are done, reboot again to start up in normal mode, good Luck

go to control panel-click help and support--click on system restore--it should take u back to a better operating day b 4 u lost it

Go to "start" "settings" "control panel" "users and passwords". You should be able to reinstate it in there.

very sure the adminstrator account is gone? it is impossible to delete the adminstrator account unless you have another admin account. if this is not the case, then, i am not sure...
