From the very instance life inside the womb begins, its alive! It begins to develop slowly. Abortion is killing a living thing that wants to live. Only those girls or women who are victims of incest and rape should have an aborton. Anyone else, no! A simple rule for girls AND women is: "keep your pants up and your legs crossed!" Any female who puts her baby in a dumpster or leaves it elsewhere, should receive the death penalty. Any female who trys to destroy a baby within her, should get life in prison.

I am against it.
3. A fetus is more than a piece of tissue.
Yes, there has been argument over this issue for centuries.

1. Regarding Science and Medicine: Currently, all valid science and medicine is 100% clear that a fetus is a person. Practically, 100% of a person's genetic makeup is determined at the moment of conception. Science and medicine define being a person (human) by genetic means.

According to science and medicine, a fetus is a distinct organism.
2. Regarding Religion: Religion, on the other hand, is not as clearly defined as medicine and science, because religion introduces the soul into the situation. However, no religious leader would say that a fetus does not have a soul and that because of this a fetus may be capriciously aborted.

Religious opinion is slowly beginning to accept science and medicine. Any religious leader with a strong practical grounding in scientific knowledge will have to admit that every embryo has a soul.

However, regardless of when a person gains a soul, religious opinion does not show any support at all for abortion. In fact, religion is one of the strongest opponents of abortion.
3. Regarding Philosophy: Philosophical opinion does show some variety regarding when a baby becomes a person. This is due solely to the fact that most philosophy is of ancient origin.

Regardless of whether a philosopher believes ancient philosophies (which were developed before the discovery of cells, heredity, and DNA), the philosopher would not support capricious abortions.

I am for it but only if u have been raped or the child will be born with a mental or physical retardation or life threatening disease. It's better to have an abortion than to have a child that u know will die and u have to take to treatment and a child that lives a very unhappy life. IF u find out ur pregnant and u weren't expecting the baby but otherwise it's healthy then it's NOT okay to get an abortion. A healthy child's life should not be ended because of the irresponsibility of the parents.

I am against it for the exact same reasons you are. I don't believe that a woman has the "right" to choose, even if they were raped or abused. It was not the baby's fault for their father's awful deed. An embyro is a life regardless of how it was concieved.
Abortion should not be a form of birth control, simply because someone made a mistake.
There are too many woman out there who have had abortions and it has ruined their lives with regret. For example: Roe vs. Wade!

Abortion is an option. There are many medical reasons to justify abortion but also sociological ones as well, incest, and rape, but the more important factor for many nations of the world is economic. The families can not afford to support the children they already have and another child would condemn them further into poverty. Sex is normal but birth control is unavailable in many areas and other methods of preventing pregnancy are unknown. While condoms are inexpensive and effective, they are simply not available, and obviously neither are IUDs or birth control pills. In America and other developed countries, people have the luxury of preventing conception, but in backward countries, home remedies have to be used to abort the fetus. Do I agree with abortion...no, but also I understand the reasons behind the pressing needs for it. I live in China which is very sophisticated in birth control, but in India, Myanmar, Laos and so on, the people haven't an idea of birth control and have to resort abortion or another step down the economic ladder and that's hard when you are already on the bottom.

The only abortions I think should be performed are those who involve women who are pregnant and it is a life or death situation where the mother and baby are both at risk. As for women who are raped, you have to remember the baby didn't ask for this either and should not suffer because of some idiot and what they done. There are always people looking to adopt.

I'm pro-choice all the way, except in late term abortions. There are too many unwanted children in this world who are starving, being neglected, or thrown around into the foster care system that it makes my heart ache for them. When you see children on T.V. with their ribs sticking out, covered with bugs, and hardly dressed, don't you think that maybe their mother having an abortion would have been better for them? Then people throw around saying put the baby up for adoption.. HELLO.. have you looked up adoption at all and researched just how many kids are waiting to be adopted? People only seem to want to adopt healthy newborns. If a woman cannot provide for their child, they probably shouldn't bring it into this world. Every child deserves a happy home, with loving parents who are able to meet their needs.

A child does NOT have a choice to be born. If a person brings a life into this world then that person is oblidged to care for the child in every manner possible to give it a loving and caring home and life. most people i see today couldn't care for themselves.

So, if you don't have the aptitute to be a good parent, DO NOT HAVE A CHILD. Even if it means aborting it. Just like you do not have the right to take a life, you are not allowed to give life if you are not capable of it.

Get your head out of your *** and figure out what it means to be a parent before you even consider having a baby.

And those of you who disagree, please go out and start feeding all the hungry children of the world. look into their eyes and tell that, it's ok, you are there for them. And really be there for them. Then you can go about preaching anti-abortion.

I agree w/you 100%, it pisses me off when woman use abortion as birthcontrol they are killing a human being. I read so many questions on here about woman being pregnant and not knowing what to do and 50% of the responses are, have an abortion, that is disgusting. If you don't want to get pregnant keep your legs closed.

Why should instances of rape and incest be any different? Is rape and incest somehow the fault of the unborn baby. How does rape and incest make an unborn baby no longer a valuable human life?

Otherwise, I agree with you.

I believe that abortion is murder. I never understood the arguement about "a womans right to choose, it's her body" It makes absolutely no sence. What about the babys right to choose and its body. It's not even an arguement. In the case of rape or incest. It is still murder. Those babies didnt choose to be created that way, and should still be given a chance. I believe in Adoption for situations like that.
