Its a conspiracy. Another attempt by Israel to expand its territory. To avenge the kidnapping of 2 soldiers,Israel bombed housing colonies, busy markets and shopping complexes, kiling hundreds of Lebanese inncocents. The war was the stupidest move in history. If its aim was to disable the Hezbollah, then it has achieved the opposite. War-struck Lebanon is now being rebuilt mainly with the help of Hezbollah money and the Lebanese people now feel indebted to the Hezbollah. Former opposers have now become pro-Hezbollah. Considering them to be their only defence against a monopolistic Israel.
The war reminds me of senseless bloodshed on the very land upon which Jesus walked and performed his many miracles. Today we defile those lands by smearing them with the blood of women and children, and breaking each one of God's sacred Commandments. It is intolerance and narrow-mindedness that needs to be avoided on our part. Israel refuses to learn its lessons from its conflicts with Palestine. If both sides are to reach a peaceful agreement, one must initiate the process by laying down their weapons and signalling their intent. Instead Israel continues to retaliate to every Palestinian attack, and Palestinian militants react to each Israeli attack. The cycle of violence is never-ending. If this cycle of violence does not end through the development of tolerance and negotiation soon, i cant help but see a dark future ahead.

Israel has been fighting someone for 50 years. The conflict between Israel and Lebannon is just another conflict this long war. I'm not sure why the news agencies made such a big deal about it.

Sadly I think of all the people who died because man cannot get along since the beginning of time. You hit me. I hit you back, only stronger. Then the two let go with total ferocity. Hezbollah started something that they will be sorry for. It means the beginning of a long and deadly conflict between the Jihadists and Western culture. The west will finally win, but at what cost? Man has been doing this since he was created. It is a natural flaw.

I would restate it as Israel vs. Hezbollah, not Lebanon. Israel defending itself against the Hezbollah terrorists. Hezbollah hiding behind women and children, using them as human shields.
