First, find out for sure if you're pregnant. If you're not, then that's good, but be more careful next time so a scare like this doesn't happen again.
If you do turn out to be pregnant, then just be honest and tell them the truth, and as soon as possible. It's a heck of a lot better than them finding out themselves later on and getting mad at you for being dishonest with them, and it'll get it off your chest so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
Be prepared for any reaction from them. I'm sure you can use your own judgement to know what to expect from them. Good luck!

First find out if you are pregnant. Either with a drug store test or a trip to a Dr or clinic. Your parents figure that after 3+ years there is "something" going on between you two. But why cause the uproar until you are sure you are pregnant. AND then if you are not pregnant I would suggest birth control! There are many types and since you are 21 you can do this without Mom or Dad.
Good luck to you.

um...my personal fav is to make HIM tell the parents. That's what I did both times. we're now married and have two children together....I'm just really bad at telling my parents anything. If you want a special way...there's frames and such you can buy in the internet that have a poem for grandparents in a frame, from a future grandchild....kinda a cute gift to give them to let them know they'll be grandparents. My sister did this on christmas....not a dry eye in the room (they'd tried for 3 years).
Good luck! and congrats!

I know the fear you are feeling. I was scared to tell my dad at 23 years old! Me and my dad were not on good terms at the time and he didn't like my hispanic boyfriend, either, because he is somewhat of a southerner and thinks white with white, etc....Anyhow, I just came out and told him. He didn't say much at first, but the next day he was calling me to tell me he found a great doctor by word of mouth and inviting me to eat dinner at his house "Since you are eating for two now!" At 40 weeks now, we are closer than ever because of this. I would just pick a time when you and your boyfriend are alone with your parents, and just say, "Mom,Dad:We've got something to tell you....." After all, what is the worst that could happen? It will be their grandchild after all!!! Good luck and keep us posted!~

Wait to say anything to them until you know FOR SURE that you are pregnant, because if your not pregnant then you would have put them and yourself through all that for nothing. Good luck otherwise! You'll do fine - 21 is old nowadays for having babies (most girls are 15)!

21 isn't a bad age, and 3 and a half years is a good chunk of time. Just tell them.

dont tell them until you know for sure.. take a home pregnancy test, if positive, call your OB/GYN for an appointment.. your doctor can help you decide how to break the news.. You would have nine months to figure it out.. well at least four before you start to show...whatever you do.. dont get married just cause your pregnant.

Honestly you are an adult and if you are just scared and think they will disown you cause you aren't married or something like that, consider the fact that you will need alot of advice and support so you have to grow up and not be scared be honest and tell them you want them to be involved in your child's life and they will get over it trust me

You just walk in and say
HI GRAMPA, GRAMA
Then you make plans to marry the father
stay together
and raise the child right.
Make a promise to never EVER go out on your husband,
and be a good example for your sweet baby.
