im pretty sure that beauty is in the eye of the beholder refers to more than beauty. it means the same thing really. that each person interprets what is or is NOT beautiful based on their background and what they find aesthetically pleasing or not

"God don't like ugly..." Ugly is more than skin deep...and any fool can see it. They just think they are foolin' ya. It has nothing to do with physical appearance. What we see in others can often be a reflection of ourselves. I don't know any ugly people.

Absolutely. I remember meeting a woman who looked as ugly as the witch on Halloween cards. I felt bad for her. but as we got to talking, I found myself marveling at her beauty. She was a really warm and loving person. this actually happened many years ago and it taught me a big lesson.

Definitely yes--have you never met someone and thought they were good looking and then the more you got to know them the uglier they became, and you wondered how you ever thought they were good looking in the first place--visa versa or whatever, works both ways.

in love with some very un-attractive human beings. But,
it also goes for ugly pets and vehicles and so forth.

yes, for instance... some people find it attractive to be skinny. Others perfer someone whom is large and curvy. I'm personally a fan of curves without rolls.

Hmm depends. But probably. It depends whether you mean ugly in personality (than if so, no) or ugly in appearance (if so, yes).

It's all how we perceive it. Everyone has different ideas of "ugly" same with "pretty".
