This is a long story. I will withhold specific names and places out of respect. My friend was very badly injured in a hate crime and I love him to death. I have no idea where he is or how badly he is hurt I have e-mailed him, 360'd him, tried to find his relations on the Internet and elsewhere, called the hospitals, called friends...and it has all come to naught.
what should I do? what else can I do (except pray)? there has been no press on his attack either. what should I do? and why is there so much hate in the world? why couldn't they leave me and my love in peace?

i'm really sorry to hear that this has happened. how much time has gone by? how did you discover he was injured? eventually you will find him. just relax for right now. praying is good too. you will hear something soon.
be careful being on here though, while you are in this frame of mind. some people say mean things on here. if you see stuff like that, turn the computer off. i don't know why there is so much hate in the world. there are two things you can choose between, and it's not love and hate... the opposites are actually love and fear. the attackers fear what they don't understand. so think of your love, breath deeply, and do not be afraid.

Check the local police blotter, if there was a crime report filed, it'll be there. As to the hate in the world, people don't like differences, it makes them uncomfortable. Some people respond to this cognitive dissonance with hate, because of their own insecurity.
