Actually, there would be a good chance that dark skinned people preceded whites. The Garden of Eden is thought to have been located in Africa. Dark skin developed as a means to cope with the hot sun there. Us whites just turned lighter due to lack of exposure to the harsh sun.

Why did God create ignorant racists, like you and others in the immigration section of Yahoo! Answers?

I just wonder why you're focusing on black people and not including Chinese, Hispanic, and any other culture that's not lily white. An equally good question would be why did God create white people.

Why did I make you black?

I made you in the color of coal
from which beautiful diamonds are formed...
I made you in the color of oil,
the black gold which keeps people warm.

Your color is the same as the rich dark soil
that grows the food you need...
Your color is the same as the black stallion and
panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed!

All colors of the heavenly rainbow
can be found throughout every nation...
When all these colors are blended,
you become my greatest creation!

Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool,
such a beautiful creature is he...
I am the shepherd who watches them,
I will ALWAYS watch over thee!

You are the color of the midnight sky,
I put star glitter in your eyes...
There's a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain...
That's why your cheeks are so high!

You are the color of dark clouds
from the hurricanes I create in September...
I made your lips so full and thick,
so when you kiss...they will remember!

Your stature is strong,
your bone structure thick to withstand the
burden of time...
The reflection you see in the mirror,
that image that looks back,..that is MINE!

So get off your knees,
look in the mirror and tell me what you see?
I didn't make you in the image of darkness...
I made you in the image of ME!

We are all sons of Noah. After God confused the languages at Babylon, we went all different directions. The weather, living conditions, and many other environmental circumstances caused changes in skin pigmentation..

It sounds racist to me. I dont think that is very nice to say.
I mean what would you think if I said Why did god create white
people. I dont think it is a very smart action to ask a question like
that. Some people could take that in a very hard way!!!!!

I think different races exist because we all need to experience what it's like to live in different roles.
(we live more than one life, trust me-God wouldn't just give us one chance to learn. To God, this life now is but a sliver's length of a mili second)
Different races gives us the chance to see what it is like for everyone else including blacks, asians, etc.

I believe in evolution. Man evolved in Africa. One part of mankind migrated to Europe and evolved into white people, those that stayed behind quite evolving.
