Mederma works wonders. You can apply it early on to help clear it out better. Vitamins are also good, especially Vitamin E. I suggest using topical vitamin E to help reduce scarring. Get a liquid form of the vitamin (or puncture gel caps and squeeze out the contents) and rub it in two or three times a day once the incision has healed over. :-) Don't forget to protect that area from the sun. Scars are more prone to get sunburned and will get darker (like a nasty red) with sun exposure.

"Scar Zone" (you can find this at Walgreens). I had a really bad burn on my leg...used it for a couple of weeks and I can hardly notice anything now.

But if you have a scar, use it immediately and several times a day.
Also, make sure you swab the area with rubbing alcohol first, to get rid of any dirt or bacteria. And also make sure the scar is never dry (use any moisterizer (vaseline is best).

also try zebo de macho if they sell them in your country, i'm not sure. apply it while the wound's still isn't totally healed yet

zebo de macho is i think came from some animal fats, i'm not sure. but they're amazingly effective. i know someone who used it when she accidentally spilled boiling cooking oil on her arms when she was frying fish. she applies the product everyday; then, after a few weeks, it was completely healed, with no scaars; as if nothing happened to her arms. =)

i hope there's zebo de macho in your country =)
