I find it ironic how many Americans have posted stuff about British teeth. This is an outdated idea from WW2 when healthcare was not that great. These days England has a free health care system that also provides free dental care. America has over 45 million Americans with no health insurance and America also includes Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. The bad teeth in those three states alone would be enough to outway any kind of bad teeth average in the UK. In West Virginia 43% of people are missing six teeth or more.

In general, I think British people can be quaint or trendy (a perception really based on the age and living place of the person in question) with enchanting accents. England is a various place just like America--a London urbanite is different from someone living in the country. The general perception is that English are stiff and reserved when it comes to sense of humor.
Politically, British people probably get just as many negative stereotypes as Americans due, thanks to our respective (but not necessarily deeming respect) leaders. The remaining conflict in Northern Ireland leads a lot of Irish-Americans (at least the ones whose ancestors came from what was to become the Republic of Ireland) to believe that politically England is intent on keeping one last remnant of the empire, whle not being blind to the fact that America is becoming obnoxiously expansive in present times. However, most people who believe this separate the politics from the culture, because we certainly understand how it feels to be misrepresented by horrible leadership.
Generally, we think Europeans do things in a way that make more sense, and that everyone over the pond is more culturally enlightened and less isolated than Americans. We see England and its culture as a gateway to experiencing Europe due to our common language.
Bad teeth is a common stereotype of English much in the way that being fat is a stereotype of being American.

While its been said that we are the only two country's separated by a common language. I also think we are the only two people that share common values. The Rule of Law.
"(American revolutionaries ) proclaimed their quarrel with the “present King of England”, not with the existing system of laws. Indeed, the King stood accused of abandoning “the free system of English laws”….The measured sobriety of the Declaration ( of Independence) , even at a moment of the most intense emotions, is in stark contrast to the recurring outburst, the slogan oriented demagoguery that characterized events in France.
The reason for this difference ….is their (British/American) early recognition of the unquestionable link that binds the concepts of law, property, and freedom. And so for the French, liberty was something to proclaim from the rooftops, for the British, it was a state to be achieved as the result of understanding human nature, of adopting solid principles, of creating a lasting system of laws and institutions."

You have a better health care system. The World Health Organization ranked the USA 35th in the world in health care...the lowest of any industrialized nation. High infant mortality, 49 million uninsured. About a thousand people die a week unnecessarily because they have no money for the expensive health care here

Well you definatly produce great authors (JK Rowling and Jane Austin) and you have a witty and funky sence of humor (Mr. Bean) and I sure do like your muffins. Also you have more sence and (how do you say balls in a nice way?) than the Fr**ch. I would side with you anytime.
