Because he's a democrap liberal. Don't you know that the talk doesn't stop for a lib until you have a mouthful of shoe?

He is a typical liberal. He truly thinks he must keep trying to blame others for his lack of competence. Draw attention away from himself so as not to be discovered for what he really is. An inadequate racist.

Look at Marion Barry in Washington DC a few years back. And they voted him back into office. That just proves that some electorates deserve the bad politicians they get. And Nagin is just that.

Maybe he hopes he'll be remembered for his stupidity rather than his inaction and indecision in crunch time. School Bus Nagin should have been voted out when New Orleans had the chance

Because then he wouldn't be Ray Nagin.

Why exactly is he such a bother? Before James Traficant WENT TO FEDERAL PRISON and kept spouting off crazy theories from the halls of Congress, no one told him to stop talking, so why is Nagin so hard to stomach?

And how many votes did you get in your last election?

Uncle Tom Nagin is in it for the $$$$$$ as for his "talking" I guess I could ask the same thing about anyone.. I haven't noticed him being overly verbose.. he's just a slippery politician.

because he did nothing to prepare his city for the storm and needs to blame the Fed's for the mistakes the city and state had done. It is all about the chain of command. First city hall , then the Governor's office , then white house, , the real question why he is not lifting his fingers to help clean up his own city?

The more and more i research New Orlean's the more and more respect I have for him...

I do not respect what he did to the Katrina victums and the race card he uses constantly...

I do like his anti-PC attitude with others. I want more of that....

He fought a currupt burocracy that has been in place ther for ages... he was even considered an uncle tom.
He has come a long way, but he needs to learn.
