hairspray... not a lot of it. I used it to get crayon off my couch and it worked great.

I have heard you can remove crayon or any other waxy substance by placing paper towels over the stain and running a medium hot iron over it. The iron melts the wax and the towel absorbs it. I don't know how well this works, as I've never needed to test it, so I've included a link that offers another alternative. Hope this helps.

put a brown paper bag over the crayon mark and run an iron over it. This may take a few strokes. It should lift onto the brown paper bag

Place newspaper over cushion.
Apply low heat iron to newspaper.
Crayon Wax melts and is soaked up by newspaper.

There is this stuff called "Goo Gone" that you can get at Linens & Things, or Bed, Bath and Beyond that will remove stuff like that. Good luck.

Try the hair dryer to melt it and then blot it with paper towels....
