why not try a stationary oil rather than a mobile one

If you are going to use Mobil, use Mobil conventional 5W-30, the real stuff made out of dinosaur bones and rotting plant material that is pumped out of the ground. The synthetic is a waste of money. Change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles, that is the true life of the engine.

A good synthetic that matches the OEM oil weight specs for your car. Most importantly change it every 3 months or 3k to keep the oil clean to reduce further wear and tear.

the best oil out there is the mobil one full sytetic but i recommend 10- 30 because it has alot of miles on it. each quart can cost up to 6 or 7 dollars but it is worth it it will make your engine happier.

Any oil of the right weight should work. Mobile oil is just more expensive.

First check the owner manual for the car and see what the recommended brand of oil that you are to use. Then use the synethic oil so it can protect your pistons and lubicate the engine better. Or ask your personal mechanic to recommend the oil for you to use in your car.
