everyone has 24hrs a day, many out there is as busy as you and able to keep in touch with friends. You can too.

Ask yourself are you able to set aside sometimes in a day or in a week for friendship. It could be just 5mins a day in your break time or meal time. Take out your phone and make a call to your friends. Think about it, how nice it is to receive call from friend to ask how are you doing. A simple call will make the difference.

Or since you have time to access the wed, you can also keep contact with your friends by this communicating tool; email and chip chat tool.. You can even make new friends through these.

If you hope to find a partner or better friendships. You got to put every thing aside first and use this time to plan how are you going to use your time.
-Organise your time.
-Set priority.
-Set target time for each task and set a time slot for friendship.
- Call out a friend or a few friends together to meet for anything; example dinner.
- Let your friends know you are looking out for a parnter, if you are.

Whenever you cannot finish other task on target and it is time to for friendship, ask yourself which is more important to you, your task or friendship

Your friends could be in your work place or school. It is up to you to choose who do you want to build friendship.

Friendship is one of the most important substance in our life. And it require us to take effort and time to build it.

God bless you.

start talking to people outside your social group or work group,

As for keeping touch, that you have to make time to do, easiest why is stop watching TV. To do that decide what program you want to watch at the beginning of the week and watch only those, hence freeing up time for other things like being here on Yahoo Answers

I would suggest that you make a priority list. There is probably something you can let go of and replace it with something else. I think we all have too much on our plates these days that aren't really necessary. It just slips into our lives. We all need to just stop every so often and take a look at our lives.

You simply don't have time!!! Why not just socially visit with the people at work, school and other obligation places? Two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Do small things for neighbors and co-workers who you want to meet, then when you have the time, introduce yourself, and when time does open up, re-introduce yourself by saying, remember when? Its a great way to let people know you cared enough to care then and they will appreciate you now.

I know, it's hard.
You should actually do things for yourself and the friends and events will come.
Activities, and such.
Trust me, you will never be alone.
Everyone has a friend.
