No, I was overpayed 24 hours overtime and called my boss and told him, I even made a copy of my paystub and personally gave it to him. He has yet to deduct it from my paycheck. There is no way to give him the money for it when my paycheck was for 80 hours regular and 72 hours overtime. The tax table is just outrageous at this point.

Yes. If you keep and find out you did, you will lose your job. Perhaps not directly nor obviously related, but you will. Not only that, you have a moral and ethical obligation to point out the error.
Another point is that even the tiniest bit could potentially increase your income bracket and affect your tax liability at the end of the year. No one wants that.

Consider it severance pay unless you get a letter from them demanding that you pay it back, then see an employement attorney

What's done is done, your no longer an employee to them and it's their fault for making the mistake, so i don't think your entitled to pay anything back.

You betcha! More than likely they'll catch this and dock the overpayment from your next check. But if they don't, you legally still owe them the money.

Yeah what he said . . . . and you probably won't keep your job after they find out you were dishonest and didn't report it.
For all you know this could be a test! Don't fail it!
