No. It was like watching some candy-coated, mind-numbing parody of Romeo and Juliet only with a horrific tragic ending; they didn't die.
And being 12 years old, I am the intended audience.

My kids love it and unfortunately I have seen it 3 times, and I know all the words to all the songs. My kids have the CD and we listen to it in the car.
