Yes, as a woman we demand equal rights and if we want to service our country in this way it is my right to. Women are very devoted to a cause.

No, army is basically infrantry right? I mean there are some support troops, but basically it's combat right?
Not really sure...I mean the technology of our weapons has pretty much made it that 10 year old boys could be just as effective. Not that 10 year old boys should be in the Army. I think men have more pi$$ed off anger and aggression than women. Think they are more avid fighters. But what do I know...I'm just a woman.

Yes The Army is a place for a woman, speaking as a female solider with the military, I think enlisting to the army was a great deal for me. I learned a lot of things about myself i did not know also I learned how to better myself and I love my job with my unit. It's not all that hard, the only thing that was tough to do and I did it was to leave my kids in order to go to training, My kids are proud of their mother for the sacrifices I made to give them a better life. I am proud to be serving my country

I think women should be able to join if they wan to, but if there was ever a draft again, I would be really pissed if they drafted women! I could never do what they must do! I'd probably piss my pants, roll up in a ball(and then get shot) if I saw half the **** I know our soldiers are seeing right this second! I love them all for doing it so I don't have to!

If it isn't you better do something quick about getting all the women in Iraq out of there! Oh, and all the women in Germany, Afganistan, wherever we have "peace keeping forces" and the many who are stateside now. I suggest you tell the president and donald rumsfeld about this shocking news immediately!

There are places for women in the armed services for sure but I don't agree that they should be in combat. No matter how much time I (we) spend weight training, etc. men wil always be physically tougher.

Abso-*******-lutely! When I was in the USAF, women were present, and they performed their job well. In the country of Israel, it is mandatory for a woman to join the military, and Israel has a damn good military.
