If you seriously have a dandruff problem, have you tried the Neutrogena T-gel shampoo? Not their latest dandruff shampoo that comes in the white bottle, but the stuff that looks like/ smells like tar? I'm serious, you should try that. Use it about 3-4 times a week. If that's not helping, you may want to consult with a dermatologist.

I have the same problem so I went to see a dermatologist. He gave me a shampoo to use, at first, 3 X per week until I got it under control. Now, I only use as needed and it works wonders. Just one shampooing and it is great. Also, I use a mousse foam that is even more gentle as it is only applied to problem areas of the scalp and it doesn't affect my hair at all. Over the counter products are the worst on hair for making it frizzy, rough, and brittle with breakage. Try your dermatologist!

Don't know if you want an old ladies idea but... hear goes. Get a good shampoo. Doesn't have to be Head and Shoulders but it is good. Now --- ever heard of "Seabreeze". It is somewhat GOOD. Go to a local store and ask or find it on your own. This stuff is Fantastic. Makes your head feel CLEAN. And gets rid of that dirty word - Dandruff. Good Luck!
Try it every other day..

You can wash daily with a shampoo from Head & Sholders anti-dandruff for dry scalp. Look to see it says for dry scalp. I just gave in and now weekly shave my head real short. I find the scalp is dandruff free this way and the ladies love it!!

See a doctor, have the doctor run some test. You should rule out any other reason like fungus.
I don't know what you do, how long is your hair......
Short hair active people, should clean(wash) their hair daily.
Long hair people should protect the hair and clean them as needed.
