Do you collect coffee mugs?

I collect them. I was just wondering if anyone else does.

My motherin law does- some 300 mugs cover and entire wall in part of her house. Its from every city she has been too.

Its just folly to me to waste money on things you don't use.

I only own 5 mugs- all from someplace special and they are used each day of the week. I have 3 hand made pottery ones that are my favorite snuggle up hot coco mugs each one is the size of your fist stacked up tall.

Nope, but I usually get one if I go to a major theme park. Disneyland or Universal Studios mugs are pretty cool. I buy them as gifts, too.

I liked the Beatles cartoons on the internet, so got one of those. Some are cheaply made with hollow handles that get hot or the ceramic isn't coated (gets stained easily) so watch out. If the cupboard gets full, then I sell them on eBay to people who collect coffee mugs or have a garage sale.

I totally collect coffee mugs. If I could I would have cabinets full, but my girlfriend cannot stand clutter. I'm really anal, I have 1 mug that is my absolute fav and I use it everyday. If anyone else uses it they die! There is just something sacred about coffee so of course it translates to the vessel. To hold a warm mug to your face in the morning.... and the smell and the history. It just rocks.

hmmmm, well that's funny - in passing if anyone asked me i would have said -noooo...
i would simply have dismissed it as a silly notion.

scoffee mugs! who would collect coffee mugs,for goodness sakes, i mean what a goofy thing to collect.
however, upon reflection.... i started picturing all the different mugs i have in my cupboard (and in my van and in storage and in my pickup truck, even in my gymbag?) and then it dawned on me...... oh my, oh goodness - i do, i collect coffee mugs.
i collect coffee mugs?!!!!! yikes! who am i??? what kind of a creepy dork collects coffee mugs??? - geezuh!

there is no denying it....i've got those great artsy mugs that we purchased at last year's Del Mar fair - they're hand made and i've seen them in fancy stores selling for lots of dinero, and then there's those mugs we bought at the annual ceramics sale at our community college and then i remembered all the wonderful travel mugs i've indulged in buying for my husband and i (every-time we go on a road trip i get us new travel mugs - the nice ones from *$s) and then there's the odd few i've received as lamo xmas gifts that never match any of the other mugs i have - but i feel guilty to get rid of them so i store them, just incase... (incase of what i don't know!), and i haven't even mentioned the fancy capocino mugs, the set of demi toss and the latte bowls.

so there you have it - coffee mug collecting....it's a glaring flaw in my otherwise sophisticated, worldly persona. we all have secrets - now you know mine. the truth is reveled; i've been unmasked!

My mother has like 300 mugs, all over the house, and I hate them. I know, I contribute to her collection whenever I go somewhere, but when she dies, the garbage is gonna be full. I hated washing and dusting them when I was younger.

Nope sorry I don't, but I'd love to have some kind of collecting hobby someday soon, I used to collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards when I was a kid, but these days I just collect shoes..:-D

I like the insulated travel cups from Starbucks. They change patterns seasonally so I have several. I even have the crazy ugly green glitter with daises -- this one is special for the days where I need a real pick me up!
