As long as there are people on earth there will be (sadly) race issues. Race issues are not just predominent in the U.S. They exist in every country on earth. For example in the US lighter skinned blacks are often seen as more desirable even by other blacks. On the other side in the Philippines women are viewed as more beautiful if they have lighter skin instead of the traditional brown (they even use creams to whitten the skin). Our world has always been a harsh place to live but it has definitely become much more judgemental.
One major point is this is no longer just a black issue. The race issue moves straight into asians and latinos also. It is a combination of fear and intolerance, and as I said before, sadly, human nature to find fault.

Because America has so many races, cultures in races, etc. And there is no getting over it, and racism is sadly here to stay until the day we all die off.
Look at animals, even though in the wild certain species and related species will fight against each other for space, sharing, neighborhood relation, etc.
I think it is inherent from where we were just Neanderthals before we perfected, or are thinking we perfected logical algorithms and thought.

Anyone can make it in this country. It was built with the hands of people all around the world. Everyone in the world has had at one time or another been repressed. It's easy to blame other races, Thats how rev. Jesse Jackson makes his money to him its racial or he is out of buisness. Look at the poor Jews how many countries want them dead and are willing to send there child with a bomb packed with nails . My throat would be slit in many countries because I beleive in Jesus. Please look at the rest of the world before condeming ours. There are black christians getting killed in simalia and the women are getting raped by the Muslems so there babies will have muslem blood. Females in Saudi Arabia are treated he same as dogs

because it always has been there since the slave era and even though they say blacks have equal rights now, it's only on the surface they just say it to look good, but there is still an underlying resentment of blacks and some people can't let go of the past and escape the history. There's always going to be an issue of us and them and i'm glad that you for one want people to get over it

The only ones pushing the race issues is our media. Otherwise, I don't see the problem on my job site or at home.

Because so many people were around when it was a HUGE issue... and they pass on their beliefs... but as long as you don't do... it's one less person.

because it is easier to stir people against each other through the method of "divide and conquer" rather than have everyone get together and demand the government actually DO something
