I completely agree with you. He is not a "made" person just yet and I don't think he will be. The way he looks and the way he talks. I think ESPN is taking a step backwards. They need to look for Pat Summerall and John Madden. I think it was a bad move for ESPN to put this PTI joker on MNF.

I think you should just give him a little time, for two reasons. First it is like preseason for him, and he is still learning the booth. Second, it takes a while for someone to grow on you. There have been new guys on radio and tv that I have hated at first, but they eventually adapt and I also became used to them.
I think Tony Kornheiser will be very entertaining. Look at it this way, he can't be any worse than Dennis Miller was in the booth, can he?

The only thing wrong with Kornheiser being on MNF is that we will have to miss him on PTI on Mondays. However, that is a sacrifice I am willing to make to be able to enjoy his commentary and sense of humour while watching the last game of every week.
