Yes, because by having sex outside of marraige, you are cheating on your future spouse. Sex is sex, timeline or not. Lets say you met this guy, hooked up, dated for a couple weeks, and then everything was over. You had sex, but it was never serious. A couple years goes by, and you meet the person whom you want to spend the rest of your life with. But because you slept with another guy, he doesn't get to be your one and only...therefore, you took something away from that belonged to him. Adultry was commimted, because you gave your body to someone who wasn't your husband. Make sense from a biblical standpoint?
However, if you are asking the if having sex with someone else other then your Boyfriend or Girlfriend, then its the same thing...because every time you have sex before you are married is commiting adultry.

I suppose it depends on the couple. Each couple must make the decision between them what is considered cheating. Some couples have very strict rules (maybe not allowing friends of the opposite sex, etc.) whereas other couples on the other end of the spectrum might swing and swap partners while still considering themselves part of a committed relationship. Some may believe that, as long as you aren't married, there is no such things as cheating.
So, I guess it depends on who you ask!

If you are in a commited relationship and have sex with someone else that's cheating. You don't have to be married to be commited.

you can do what ever you want to do but with every action comes consequences if you can live with the fact that you cheated on some one who loves and trust you then go right a head but for me it is not only a degrading and untrustworthy act , but i could personally not go out with some one i cheated on with i have a conscious and it would bother me but you decisions are your.
