Theyre making it so that some games you can import your own music into the game, some games - those who are internet capable - will have options to download extras. Many more features are in store im sure - another thing is that you wont need memory cards for anything more than transporting game data from system to system - for the social gamer. Other then that, If you play alone, you wont need a memory card - you can save your game straight to the hard drive.

The hard drive will store your mp3 which games can use, your movies, which you will be able to edit right on you ps3 if you want and stream to your psp, you can capture videos to your hard drive using the camera (eyetoy for ps3) and share those videos on your video blog (ps3's online network). You save your gamesaves on it, you can download games to your harddrive from the ps3 online network.

Well what the biggest difference is is $600 compared to $170. Go with the Wii.

20 gigs, u can put mp3's, movies and music on your harddrive, also you dont have to buy a memory card to save your games.

I read somewhere that the bigger hardrive has software that would allow you to play older PS2 and PS1 games? Otherwise you don't need it.

hmmm oh yeah there IS a ps3 hmmm i guess my advice is ask someone else. I am not an expert on ps3 only on ps2 and one! SORRY!
