I think people are just like animals in many ways. We all want to be loved and respected. When we dont get it, we feel bad, and it shows. When we get it, we are happy and our tails wag, and we show it. People are basically helpful and want to help each other out. When stress is upon us, we do weird things. When we are relaxed, we do more normal things. Okay, I"ve said enough and my apostrophy key is not working here on my laptop. What do YOU think of people in general?

Almost all the people I've meet want the same things no matter what race or ethnicity. They want adequate food, shelter, clothing and a to make enough money to pay their bills. On an individual level, I trust my instincts about what I think of them. If I feel threatened, or uneasy with that person I usually keep my distance & unless they give just cause I will always be polite to them.

Study the Vernon Howard books & you wil be surprised of the esoteric knowledge that he has promoted over the centuries.

Generally speaking, I'd say people are pretty kick-***. Sure, there's a lot of jerks out there, but they stand out because they often have loud mouths and draw a lot of attention to themselves. But I know so many good people who genuinely care and try to help each other - I'm constanly reminded how absolutely fabulous we are.

i try to
give everyone a fare shake.
be generous with second chances but spare with thirds.
be nice until it's time not to be nice.
avoid people who are emotionally needy.
avoid people who want to use me as the next rung up.
try to believe and expect the best in people.

In general, people are sinners by nature and by choice -- i.e. basically bad. Of course, if we compare ourselves to select others, we can appear pretty good -- but not to God.

They are programmed by nature to fend for themselves...every action that every person makes each day is a result of a personality that has been crafted by evolution....yes some of us are nicer than others...but we are all machines programed by our genes.....freewill is a joke.
