To have the right person, we have to become the right person. Write down five things you want in a mate and five you don't. Now get rid of the five traits you don't want, from yourself. Take the five you do and make them a part of you. As you become like the one you seek, you will magnetize that one to you, regardless of where on the planet they are. And if the one there now is not it, someone better will step forward. Work on you first, you are the only one you have any power over.

Many people yearn for things they cannot have. Most people yearn for a person cause they fell in love with a friend. Other people yearn for someone cause they know they cannot have that person. Like a man can yearn for a woman that's married already. It all leads toward love. You become friends with someone and fell in love and now you yearn for someone you can't have. The best thing to do is become friends with someone that don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend and start from there. Life ain't easy, and won't get any easier. Just have to move on with life.

I think its because even when you can have anything you want in the world EX(Paris Hilton) you would still want that happiness that comes with you when your not a star and not on t.v. I would say that it would be better in the "middle" class than the upper, because when your in the middle class you would WANT the things that the upper class had EX(money, big house..etc.) When your in the upper class...what do you wish for? Do you wish to be unpopular and not rich and not have to worry about what bedroom you'll sleep in today, or what bathroom you'll finally use. We yearn for things because we can't have them, and we know it. I think that if everyone in the world got what they wanted the world wouldnt be anymore. Some people wish for world domination, yet some people wish for food...or water. I can go on and on but I honestly hope you get the idea. Hope this helped and I hope you get your man!

we do that because we are not satisfied with what we have. If you really think about it you will find out that there is no need for wishing something else. But then again you can never turly think that you don't need to wish. It will be a pondering though trapped in your confussed mind. So basicly yearning for something we don't have is a natural instinct that us humans have. Even if it huts its normal and you will get through it.

Its a question about economics... And the key word is scarcity. If you have something then you don't want it anymore because you have it.
If you crave for pizza, you really enjoy the first slice, you enjoy the second slice a little less, and the third even less than the second, and so on...
You yearn for a man in particular because there is only one in the world like him... he is very very scarce.
But... don't worry... you can have him. You just can't have him right now!

Because the consciousness is lost in finding connections in the brain and keeps going around the block. It is wondering in the location where it supposes to be -- but nowhere is that memory to be found.
It is rather like a driver looking for the missing number of the street and keeps driving up and down the neighborhood.

Because if we had it, we wouldn't have to yearn for it any more!
But seriously folks, it's often safer to fantacize about things that we can't have than to accept the realities of things that we can. The unattainable man never cuts his toenails in bed, snores & drools in his sleep or leaves his dirty socks on the floor.

Unfortunately the grass always looks greener on the other side. Just remember to be happy were you are and for what you have and you will have a lot more joy in your life - easier said than done, isn't it?

I believe it's human nature. Just like any practice of discipline we have to discipline and control our minds so that we don't place ourselves in bad situations. Never forget that the grass is never greener. Outsiders usually never see the truth no matter how close you are.

perhaps you don't really want him, but rather, you want someone like him...
it is natural to want someone who shares the same values and beliefs that you do, and it is rare to find someone who does...so, perhaps your wanting him stems more from the fact that you can't find people who are somewhat like you, not that you really want him. try joining a group and meeting others who shares your values, i'm sure you will find someone nice to chat up with...
