I looovvvvve Melky- He gets better all the time, but definitely worth keeping on the Yankees. VERY good looking too and he is young so he has time to improve!

I am. Melky has shown that he deserves a spot in the outfield. From the rumors I've heard, Sheffield will not be with the Yankees next season. Either they will not pick up his option, or will pick it up and trade him. Hopefully then they will put Abreu at first and Cabrera will be patrolling RF.

Luv that kid!!! Allthough Matsui is a good player, I'm not missing him too much...Melky's doing a fine job and he has a better arm than Hideki.

He is sweet 22 yrs old and sweet defense and offense
his bat has really helped out in left field where the yanks thought they were going to be weak
from yank minors and will be a star in the future

man i love melky cabrera. and im NOT gay. he is awsome. i mean he was only 21 yrs old and he came through for his team. that dude is really cool. he has an impression on me.

He's a decent player on a superstar team. You put him on a regular team and i dont think he goes anywhere. Granted yes he is talented enough to be in the majors... but he's nothing close to an all star.
