people suffer because they choose too noone can make you suffer.....you choose the attitude you have each day and life is too short to spend it suffering

My parents in laws sure love to suffer. They cause everything that happens to them. Like they have no money but won't get jobs so they keep getting late notices and they make sure everyone knows about their dirty laundry. I think they like the pity people take on them. They are both able body persons who could be working. I think people suffer because they want the attention. Like the people who bi tch and complain about their lives but don't do anything to change it. Thank god I'm not like that. I hated the way things were in my life two years ago so I fixed it instead of crying over it. So, yes I think people suffer for the fun of it.

Some people choose to suffer because it gives them a sense of control and a little of bravery. It makes them feel as if they are important. People can make other people suffer it's a part of everyday life 2. was this a serious Q?

it isn't for fun. People forget their sources of joy sometimes for a while and others obviously suffer if someone is being horrible to them and they have no safe recourse.
