I ordered 2 DVDs from the UK. I've been told that they cannot be played in Canada. I inquired but have not rec'd a reply. Does anyone know if this is fact or crap. I know there is an AC/DC difference but do i have reason for concern. Appreciate any info possible. I don't want to take Betty's picture of our money, but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joking..cheers

You need to check and see what Region the dvds are. Canada and USA players usually only play Region 1 dvds. The UK is a different region. There are DVDs that are for all regions I believe as well as region-free DVD players, which can play them all.

DVD's play in different regions...the uk and europe are region 2 and unless u have a multi region dvd player then u wont be able to watch them in canada as ur in region 1

Whoever told you that the DVDs will not play is totally correct.
UK DVDs are Region 2 (possibly also Europe).
However you may be able to obtain a Multi-Region DVD player although this may cost more than you might want to pay.

UK DVD's are region 2 if you have a region 2 player or multi region player youll be ok.

The others are correct, we are region 2 but if you have a multi region player they will work, or they will probably work in your computer.
