Yes animal psychology and behaviorisms, characteristic traits among species, adaptation, function socially. Jane goodall and the apes among many other pioneers in this field. darwin touched upon this.. But animal psychology is "real" as others claim its no. Psychology in essense is the study of the mind, along tose line everything biological is psychological, and animals are thinking social beings(species different) They think.... They have a brain.... anything else feel free to im or email me... later

Some of the techniques can be applied to animals. Positive reinforcement is commonly used in animal training to encourage an animal to repeat the desired behavior on cue.

There is a field called animal psychology, if that is what you were asking. You really need to be more specific with your question.

We all use some type of psychology with animals. In training them to do what we would like. I have trained my Lab to look for his toy bow wow. I say bow wow he runs and looks for it/brings it to me. One leash hangs on a bedroom door knob, when he is ready to go outside he lets me know. I take the leash off the BR door, he gets it and takes it to the back door. He know the meaning of water/food. But they teach us as well in play and toying around with us. Like teasing.

What??? animals have feelings is that what you are asking? Animals have memorys and if they have a bad past they will remember the trigger that made them feel uncomfortable.
