I have some felonies on my record when I was about 14. I made the mistake of telling my first recruiter that I had them when I was 20yrs old and tried to join.

He told me to go away. Even though my last charge was a misdemeanor when I was 16.

You will NOT be accepted with a felony. If it is a juvenile felony, you are easily able to lie. Just don't go for a Top Secret security clearance, because that's an FBI search and they will find it.

But, it sounds like you're an adult and/or you committed it at 17... Therefore you will never be able to join any Branch, even the Army (which is the easiest to get into).

To put it bluntly -- you will MOST LIKELY NOT be acceptable to the military with those convictions on your record. The Military is a position of trust and responsibility (including being responsible for FEDERAL Government Resources), which you have a CLEAR record of not showing.

To my knowledge, non of the armed forces are taking felons into the service. I checked for a family member.

Ask a military recruiter and see if they need troops bad enough. If so, they would begin the footwork for you .
