Books on anti-Americanism, by people who are basically Stalinist clones, are highly respected.

That's true of Anglo-American societies, which are strikingly the more democratic societies. I think there's a correlation there...As freedom grows, the need to coerce and control opinion also grows if you want to prevent the great beast from doing something with its freedom....

wow.. dude, just read your response to the young lady's question about what a Neocon was.. very well put as is this question. And yes I do think it is the calling card of fascism to thwart true freedom and replace it with wanton consumerism, capitalism and ultimately ...despotism. But hey what's new about any of this ? It's the same fight that Homer is fighting in the Odyssey, good against evil, yin and yang. .. we may be entering a new era of peace on the other side of this situation. I think our basic need to "fight" is the problem. I would like to consider myself pretty forward thinking and I still have a tendency to over react and become frustrated with what I see going on around me.. perhaps that's our next step of evolution.. maybe we'll stop fighting and begin living, peacefully ?
Very good again my man.. really !

No. An example of anti-Americanism would be something that is unconstitutional. Despite what they'd have you believe, both the left and right support the constitution. They are both Americanists in this sense....opposite parties co-existing...not totalitarianism.

Is it the hallmark of a totalitarian society to have concepts like anti-Islam, anti-Muslim...forcing their concept of "democracy" at the point of a gun?
