Maybe, if they ever get rid of the Castro's.
Hes getting old now, so it might not be much longer.
the Cuban citizens don't like living under a communist government any more then we would like it.But, a dictator is a dictator. No picnic!

Would love too one day see Canada, Mexico,Central America all the way too Panama...and Cuba and the Caribbean....Unite into one country ....for the common good of staving off the evil empire of the EU!

What makes you think that we will want Cuba as another state? I think that America is big enough. We have our own problems with out bringing Cuba and their problems into the mix.

A state no, but I can only hope that we open up trade with them. There are sooooo many that will benefit from this.


And I would like to visit because I hear it is beautiful.

Not in one million years. Neither side would want such a thing; the exception being the Miami Cuban who want to get back to make their millions. Even they would prefer off shore status and the license it gives them. I wonder if you, yourself, would be willing to commit the U.S. tax dollars that would be necessary to revamp and operate an entire foreign country.
Not even the majority in Puerto Rico wants statehood.

Why should they? They're not attached to the mainland and you guys haven't invaded them in any sense or laid claim to them. They have thier own currency and political system and seem to be getting along fine.
