Water and soap. Diamonds can withstand just about everything but soap and water and then rinse and buff with lens cleaner paper or even a clean car chamois.

you should use Palmolive liquid dish soap it really cleans the stone the best and if you have a jewery machine that vibrates with warm water....do not use the alcohol solution type jewerly cleaners.
