If beer was banned from NFL football games and Nascar races, would anyone go? Some people go just to see how much they can drink. I think these places would have bunches of empty seats without beer sales. I don't get it. Drunken jerks just ruin it for the people who actually want to watch the event.

buying beer at a sporting event is crazy. why anyone would want to spend upwards of $6.50 or more for a luke warm no name draft beer is beyond me. if you really want to empty seats for real fans, it would require no carry in coolers at races and no tailgating in the parking lots prior to the game. since the owners get a huge piece of the revenue from beer sales, don't expect it to happen any time to soon.

Some people drink alot at the tailgates and not as much during the game. Banning drinking in the parking lots would cause more problems.
