How do I get a 20% off coupon to either Home Depot or Lowe's?
I can find the 10%, but since we are going to be spending almost 1000 in the next week (all in one trip) I would like to save as much as possible.

Stop by your local post office and pick up a moving packet with a change of address form etc.. I am pretty sure that Lowe's still puts coupons in the packet since people moving into a new home usually spend a lot of money at home improvement stores. Keep the coupons and throw the rest away. I hope they still have them , I know they did a year ago.

I received a 20% off coupon for home Depot just before the 4th of July. The cashier told me the next one would be around labor day

I don't know what area you are in but here Home Depot is having their annual clearance sale. Evidently they do their inventory in July and August is the month to get a lot of things at cost. I assume all Home Depots are on the same schedule. Get there fast and see if there is a bargain that you can use. I spent $60 today and got over $250 worth of stuff. I got several things at 80% off. Get moving.

I would ask them for 20% off because you are buying so much.
I you have a contractor that has an account there they can get you a discount.
