Since stars are balls of gas...it would probably burn your hand. So doubt it would feel good.

a falling star is an astroid or a comet entering the Earth's atmosphere ... usually is an astroid ... most burn up on entry but there are a lot that make it through. You have the one that took out the dinosaurs, and who knows what else, then you have small ones ... you really don't wanna catch one ... but I would love to have a small one park itself in my back yard :) (by small ... I'm talking mmm 2 inches in diameter when it hits ... since it would probably be about 100 foot in diameter when it entered the atmosphere) would make a big hole ... but omg ... the fireworks :)

I have to imagine you'd feel pretty lucky to be alive. In the most literal of ways, sorry I'm a logic person so that's the point of view you will get here. Really though, I think if you woke up and found that you had no arms from trying to catch a speeding ball of fire you would still have to thank God that you are alive.

In real life it wouldn't feel good and burn you up, buuuut...

The reason why the stars are so far away, I think, is that their beauty could be so easily reached. If we could reach them, would we appreciate them? Or maybe they're so beautiful from so far away to hide the fact that they're millions of degrees? We can't have naything. The desire to fly and take in the air belongs to the birds...but we have intelligence, thumbs, and more evolved civilization. We can't have falling stars because if we could catch such beauty so easily, what would we have to wish on and reach for?

Depends on the star and how far they fell. If it's like Oprah, I'd say it would hurt. If it's like Nicole Ritchey, she's so light it would be like catching a feather now matter how far she fell.
