I've got a book called "The Complete Illustrated Holistic Herbal" by David Hoffmann, and according to it, it says the best herbal remedies for high blood pressure are Buckwheat, Cramp Bark, Garlic, Hawthorn Berries, Lime Blossom, Mistletoe, and Yarrow. It says you can use raw garlic if you prefer, just chop a clove or two in little pieces and swallow them like pills (about 3-4 cloves a day). It also says that if you have anxiety and stress that accompanies your high blood pressure, to also include Skullcap and Valerian. For headaches include Wood Betony.
I'm pretty sure that one, if not all, of these remedies will help you. So far everything it suggests taking for other kinds of problems that I or someone else I've suggested it to has worked.
Oh yeah and the best kind of extracts to take (IMO) is the liquid kind. They work better than the powder capsules. If you don't want to taste it, just use the dropper to put some in an empty capsule. Also to help with the blood pressure (and to get the best results from the herbal remedies) be sure to drink plenty of water, cut back on salt and sugar intake, and exercise regularly. At least 15 minutes a day to start out with if you're not that fit, then work your way up to an hour. Just plain nonstop walking is efficient enough.
Hope I've helped. =)

Go to walk early in the morning for an hour in a green park. Eat fatless food. Drink a lot of water. Putt off smoking if you are a smoker. Take a minimum of 7 hours sleep. Above I learnt from my mother who is blood pressure patient too.

Exercise is the best way....but grapefruit lowers blood pressure also...however if you are on medication doctors suggest you limit your grapefruit intake because it can lower your blood pressure too much. So exercise and grapefruit can dramatically lower your bloodpressure.
