The PS3 isn't out yet, but based on currently known info:
I would imagine that the PS3 has better graphics since it's coming out a year after the 360. Gameplay-wise, they took away the rumbling from the controller although they did add a little bit of crude motion sensing capability, so I guess we give this category to the 360? Games is unknown but the PS3 has a least a great back library since it's backwards compatible with the previous PS systems. Quality I don't even know what that refers to or how to judge. But it's hella expensive!
Personally I want a Wii! The Wiimote is sooo cool. You can buy the 360 *and* the Wii for less than the PS3.

As you will see the 360 will eventually blow the PS3 out of the water. This is not too suprising when you see E3 footage of the PS3 the only game that looked really impressive was Metal Gear 4. Graphics wise though the trailer of Halo3 looked even better. Gameplay will always be by game. I personally think the best gameplay is the splinter cell series. (Metal gear was great once they changed the camera angle to be more like splinter cell. Although it did make it A WHOLE LOT EASIER). Games wise, it will take the PS3 a little bit of time just like it has taken the 360 to put out a decent roster of games. The only problem the PS3 is going to have game wise is the GTA series is being released on the same day for both systems and will have exclusive content for the XBOX. Hope this helps.

I would get the PS3 for sure when it comes out. The PS3 has great raw power (graphics) and the game line-up is very solid, it cost Sony 1000.00 for the two cell processors that run the PS3. As for the 360 it is OK, some of my friends just love the 360 and yet some of my friends think the 360 was a big let down. I have seen and heard of 360's having problems with overheating and games freezing up. Beware of the dreaded 3 red lights on the 360, because that means your 360 just overheated and fried itself. So in the games i would say PS3, in graphics i would say PS3, and in game-play i would also say PS3, the only area where the 360 is better is in their on-line game-play. Other than that i think the PS3 will be better.

Ps3 is said to replace all electonics in your home like computer dvd player radio.......and from what i heard it has more features than 360 so i go with the PS3
