Modern Jews generally fall into one of two categories:
Ashkenazi or Sephardic.
Ashkenazi means your family (this could be a few generations back) comes from Eastern Europe, Sephardic, from Spain.
They tend to have differences in minor traditions, food and accent. Sephardic culture is similar to other middle eastern cultures.

The Sephardic Jews are originated from Spain and Portugal (after the Diaspora, of course), unlike the Ashekenzic Jews who came from Europe.

An Italian Sephardic Jew is a Jewish person who comes from Italy but originated from Spain.

★they are italian and sephardic means this★

A Sephardi is a Jew originating in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal)

►so they are √italian, √spanish, √jewish..

which means there →mom must be→ jewish because that is what the jewish go by..

Means they have a great «mix« of blood and alot of «culture« within them ☺

Sephardic has to do with Spanish, I believe, but it's confusing and too difficult to figure out.
