i just baught an insignia dvd and vcr player. i can record a vhs to dvd and vice versa. i made the dvd region free but the vhs isnt region free. i have cassettes that are pal, how would i make them work on the vhs ntsc player.

oh and trying to record the vhs to dvd didnt work. any help will be much appreciated

You have to have a VHS reader which is PAL compatible AKA a PAL VCR. Search the net as in yellow pages for service who can convert your cassettes to NTSC DVD/VHS.

Sorry you will have to ask for a favour to convert or spend $$

You will not be able to play or record from your PAL tapes unless you have a PAL VCR that can convert the output to NTSC which is the TV standard we use in the USA.

i guess that you can't make the PAL VHS tapes to work in your NTSC player
