The word that used to be used for widowed queens like Queen Noor was "dowager". The ridiculous term "Queen Mother" was invented by the mother of Queen Elizabeth II upon the death of George VI. She did this because she was unwilling to assume her proper place in the hierarchy when she became a widow and they let her get away with it. The so-called "queen-mum" was the cause of everything that went wrong with the British royal family in the past 50 years. She should have been put into the box with her husband because her usefulness ended with his death.

Queen Noor is now the Queen Mother and as for this Rory Emerald is nothing but a fake. Queen Rania of jordan is the present Queen of Jordan

Queen Noor of Jordan is exactly that..the queen of Jordan. Rory Emerald is a con man although he describes himself as a "hoaxter" (i.e. lying, con man).

Queen Noor, is not the Queen now nor is she the Queen mother since she is not the mother of the current King. Queen Rania is the Queen now.
