I just got my ears pierced a few weeks ago..maybe you took them out too soon? Even though it's 6 weeks, people's bodies are different, and yours just might be slower at healing. I suggest you clean your studs, clean your ears, and then put your original training studs back into your piercings for another 2 weeks or so, and clean them often. See how it works, because you definitely do not want infection.
PS: you're supposed to use studs that are sterling silver or 14 carat gold if you change them after the first 6 weeks, so nickel free probably isn't good enough. Anyway, just use your old training studs for now. AND don't wear any wire-style earrings until 4 months have passed (I still have the release form..so I know ^_^)

It's just your body getting used to a new material. If it persists, then I would put surgical steel ones in. Keep cleaning & rotating them. The gauge (size of the post) might be too thick which will give the feeling of forcing it through. I wouldn't take them out completely, just in case there is a infection, because then the infection will get trapped in the ear as it is closing. I have nine piercings in each ear and I can only wear real gold, and when I do put in new earrings, I have a knot with puss (which goes away). It's like your ear is rejecting a foreign object, which is normal. It will pass. Hope this helps.

"oozing" is not necessarily a bad thing, and the knot you describe sounds like a very small keloid. Here's what you should do:
1. Go out and purchase SURGICAL STEEL earrings from a reputable place (ideally a piercing salon known for quality jewelry)
2. Stop using whatever crap you got from the mall (I imagine where you got your ears pierced) and use nothing but ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP 2x a day. Dial, Softsoap, Lever 2000, etc.
3. Leave em alone. I know you can technically change them at this time, but clearly your left ear wasn't ready. The times are guidelines only, ultimately though if your body isn't ready you have to respect that.

You probably should've waited at least 8 weeks. Just keep cleaning them. and keep your studs in when your not wearing any other earrings. My ears did the same thing even after 8 weeks. After awhile i could wear all types of earrings.

Your body is rejecting the piercing. Put your studs back in for a while ( 2 weeks maybe) and when you go to change them, use only silver or gold. earrings..........nickle is a cheap metal and causes tons of problems for newly pierced ears.

I got my earrs peicred not to long ago and I had the same problem. You just have to get used to it. It might hurt for a few more days or even a few weeks but sooner or later they will start hurrting ok? Just don't think of it when it hurts, that way some of the pain will come away.
Fell better!!

Your piercing is going to take 4-6 months to heal thoroughly. that is not strange for it to nevertheless be sore and slightly purple. you need to no longer be shifting the jewellery, that drags in crust and bacteria and tears up the in the piercing. Your palms shouldn't even come on the brink of touching the jewellery on an analogous time as that's therapeutic. end making use of antiseptic on your piercing, that is too harsh. As is bactine. you need to be doing sea salt soaks two times an afternoon for 5-10 minutes each and each soak with a million/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of warm water.
