trip for my best friend and I.......????

I live in CT and want an inexpensive weekend getaway for me and my best friend (both girls). But she is kinda a homebody-likes to stay home, how can I convince her go-get away from the kids and husband for 1 night and 2 days??!! Where should I go/take her??!!

1 overnight in the Pequot tower is around $165 (Two Trees or Cedars might be less), but if you have points, you can use them towards the room. Go shopping on the concourse, see the museum, sit at the machines and get free drinks ;)

It's not far so she won't be too far away from home... and yet while you're there, it's like you're a million miles away :)
