The Command & Conquer series has always had the best RTS games.
Although there have been no new ones lately, in early 2007 Command &Conquer 3 will be released.
And for now, we have Generals and Red Alert 2, wich are still the best.
If u want something new, Civilization 4 is definetly the best.

I'd say Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings expansion, but then I've never played Age 3 and it does sound fun.

Starcraft. a lil old school but it still is tyte. but dont play it if your in school, once you start, your grades will slip.
