Hi, I just opened Firefox on my PC, and when I opened it, I got a notification saying "firefox.exe-corrupt disk" and telling me to find my chkdsk utility in C drive. im not sure what to do with it, can anyone help me out?

I pitty you... something is probably physically wrong with your harddrive.

Not sure what your issue is but to run chkdsk follow these steps...
go to Start>Run then type "cmd" (no quotes) and hit enter.
In the cmd screen type "chkdsk /f" If there are open files you will see a message asking that chkdsk can't be run do you want to run it the next time windows start. Answer yes and when you are ready to let it run for awhile restart the computer.

re install it, yes. Also open the DOS prompt and type in scandisk
You may be able to find the error listed. However, remove and re install firefox! I didn't really like that program much....
(scandisk and chkdsk perform a listing of the programs installed on your hard drive. it will also note the status, etc.)

Run a disk scan from windows and then check to see if that fixed it. If not uninstall Firefox, and then reinstall. If that does not fix it then you have a failing disk drive or a virus / spyware problem.
