I do not mean the simple, biological answer. WHY do we breathe?

Because it's how we, and many other animals, evolved. Respiration is as a way of getting oxygen and expelling other 'useless or harmful' gases (though limited respiration occurs in other ways too) Why do we need oxygen? Just like a fire needs it - to burn. Literally, we need it for our cells to provide power. Take a HS bio class. It’s actually the least simple answer, and the correct one. Or take chemistry. Or study the evolution of living systems. They all involve work.

Simple? Watch what you call simple! Aerobic breathing is a miracle of nature:

It's elegant and produce SO much energy! The utilization of ATP to move muscles is nothing short breath taking.
To call it simple is a HUGE understatement.

simple, there is an air to breath.. imagine this can you eat without a food to eat? or water to drink?

To live, what else?----U breathe to live on this planet, then u also breathe deeply to relieve pain, anxiety,stress. Without breathing, there is no life on EARTH.

So we can tell bad actors. If they can't keep their chests still.... bad actor. If even their costar is checking for a pulse....... great actor (or dead).
